Alright, so today is the first official deadline. Style team and Editorial team should have their emails sent out by the end of the day. Can't wait to see what you guys have come up with!
Also, I saw Herman the other night, and he told me that the Graphics team is working on the logo and the cover this week. They should be done with that by Friday I believe.

Style guide team sort of missed the deadline for thursday. Here is what we did discuss thus far...
ReplyDeleteas far as what fonts and general grid sizing we came up with.
Each grid should show type combinations for the body copy,
subheadings, folios, header/footers, captions and pull quotes.
NOTES:
- Wing said a maximum 4 typefaces per spread. He said to explore
different combos, and that Minion & Futura were a nice combo.
- We determined today that the pull quotes will be the only parts
which are actually handwritten.
- Helvetica was the last font decided on for the interview questions.
- Garamond was suggested for the first section's body copy.
BASIC GRID FOR BLANK CANVAS SO FAR:
(Margins)
Top 10mm;
Bottom 15mm;
Outside 10mm;
Inside 5mm.
